Blackpool North Pier

A project documenting Blackpool's North Pier. This will serve as an archive as it is soon to be subject to a renovation project. This project sparked nostalgia for myself as I would frequently visit as a child - my memories of this pier shed it in a very different light!

The pier was desolate and so this has been captured in the images. There were issues in undertaking this project as bad weather resulted in numerous closures, while a later storm caused structural damage, closing the pier more permanently. Despite these issues some interesting images were produced and displayed as part of an exhibition on postcards.
